Where to look to buy cheap, direct flights to Granada-Jaen airport, Andalucia, Spain, from London, Milan, Liverpool, Madrid, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Melilla and Palma.

If you ever want to see the legacy that the Islamic Moors left on Spain, then Granada in Andalucia is undoubtedly the place to head to. It is home to the World Heritage-listed Alhambra, which is easily one of the finest buildings in the world. The Islamic rulers of Granada were driven out in 1492, but their magnificent palace/ castle complex is a sight to behold, and even if you do have to spend a little while queuing, it’s worth it once you get inside. It’s hard to know whether to be more impressed by the views, the ornamentation or the architecture.

But Granada is not all about the Alhambra – it’s a thriving young city with a big student population and a love of flamenco dancing.

But it’s all very well knowing what you can see there. What is the best way to get there, though? Many airlines, some offering great deals and bargains, fly into Granada-Jaen from cities all across Europe. These include:

Air Europa offers flights to Granada-Jaen, Spain from Palma de Mallorca in Spain.

Air Nostrum L.A. Mediterraneo offers flights to Granada-Jaen, Spain from Melilla in Spain.

Not all of these fly every day, but they do have a regular service. It is always worth shopping around to see what sort of deal you can get, as the prices can vary dramatically depending on when you book, what time of day you plan to travel and what airport you wish to fly from. You should always make sure you are aware of the full price – including taxes and fees before confirming a booking. Also bear in mind that budget airlines do not provide a full service, such as free in-flight meals, and that you may prefer to pay a little bit extra to get such add-ons.
